Hello Eyes & Spies,
Last day of September means it's time for our regular monthly update. No major news yet, projects still in motion, though I think they're all mostly in areas that will see incremental progress internally until they move forward. That's all to say that this update will be pretty similar to last month's, and likely similar to the next few. I'll continue the regular communication, though, to keep everyone in the loop and on the same page.

While the art notes and contracts are being sorted so that illustrations can begin for the books, our big Stretch Goal supplement has taken another step on the progress track, and is now in post-approval development. Matthew says that the goal of this development pass is to add even more '80s goodness to the book, so if you've got some 1980s tropes and themes and references that you'd love to see in the book, feel free to share them in the comments for this update!

My morning mission briefing says it's nearly the end of August, so time for our regular month end status check in. As noted last month, we're still in the earliest stages, so it'll be a while before any big news hits. But I've got a few other bits and bobs to share with you before we have our regular progress chart.
STORYPATH Q&A
Earlier in the month, Onyx Path participated in Gen Con Online, and I've got the Storypath Q&A Panel to share with you. Featuring Eddy Webb, Rich Thomas, and Danielle Lauzon. Check it out to learn about current and future plans for the Storypath system.

PDF, is finished the writing stage and submitted to the team for approval before moving on to further development and editing.

July '22: Monthly Updates - the long road ahead

As noted last month, no major changes yet - we're still in the earliest phases of this campaign. But it's important to me that communication remain constant and consistent, even if it's just a note each month that "They're still working on it" and not much more. We'll have a lot of those.

REWARDS STILL PENDING
Our main books are in art direction, our card decks are in first draft status. The big supplement, the 80s action love letter They Came from the Danger Zone! PDF, is days of thundering along, and the authors have turned the manuscript over to the developers to ensure the voice is consistent throughout the manuscript and all of the pieces work together before the They Came From team reviews and approves it to move forward. Progress!

June '22: Commercials! Convention Panels! Monthly Updates!

Hello Eye-Spies,
As detailed in our previous update, I'll be back each month to go over our project list and progress and share any relevant info for this campaign. We're still in the earliest stages, so no big announcements to make yet.
But that doesn't mean I haven't anything fun to share!
COMMERCIALS?!
I've mentioned it previously, but Onyx Path was a sponsor for the latest season of Mystery Science Theatre 3000 and their launch on Gizmoplex. As the season has come out, there have been two interstitial clips featuring the first They Came from game, They Came from Beneath the Sea! This game line fits so perfectly with the MST3K tone! And anything that brings more eyes to the They Came From games is a huge win in my eyes! So check 'em out and have a laugh!
CONVENTIONS?!
As you may remember, a few weeks back Onyx Path held their third annual Virtual Gaming Convention. I've got two cool panels to share with you from that weekend.

Pulling back from a They Came From focus, this panel features Danielle Lauzon, Lauren Roy, Monica Speca, and Michele Masala talking about the engine that has gone on to power several of Onyx Path's games, including They Came from the Cyclops's Cave! and They Came from [CLASSIFIED]! If you're interested in some of the more crunchy parts of the game, this is a great discussion worth checking out!
